Book Review: Miss Nelson is Missing

Recommended for Ages Preschool - 3 Grade

Walking through the aisles at the library, I spotted this book and my heart jumped a bit. A favorite from my childhood that I knew would be just perfect for the beginning of the school year. ‘Miss Nelson is Missing’ is a story about a sweet teacher whose students seem to be getting out of control. Their listening ears seem to be broken and are becoming less and less helpful. What’s a teacher to do with a class full of hooligans? Send in a strict substitute. Or did she? This funny story is a nice reminder about being respectful to our teachers, but more than that it’s a funny story that will leave kids figuring out the mystery, what happened to Miss Nelson?
