"PIZZERT" - Dessert Pizza

A soft and chewy cookie crust covered in your favorite sweet treat toppings!

Makes one 12” round pizza crust or two 8" crust

  • 1 cup unsalted butter – softened
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking power
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole oats

Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Using shortening or non-stick spray coat a 12” pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.

In a bowl or stand mixer, cream together butter and sugars for about 2 minutes. Scrape down the sides of the bowl. Add eggs and mix until incorporated. Add flour, oats, baking soda, baking powder and salt until well mixed.

On a lightly floured surface scoop dough mixture onto table and form into a ball. Place the dough ball into the center of the pan. Using floured hands press the dough into the pan, turning the pan as you press making sure it’s pressed evenly. Place into the over and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.

While the crust is baking prepare your frostings and toppings. You can use any type of frosting you want and top your Pizzert with your favorite treats like cookies, brownies, marshmallows and even edible cookie dough!

Once the crust has cooled spread your choice of frosting up the edge leaving about an inch. Sprinkle toppings evenly. The amount is your choice! You can also divide the crust use different frostings and different toppings on half, quarter or even a single slice!
