EPCOT Rides by Age Group

By Jade Monzo, Owner, Rope Drop Travel March 13, 2020

Looking for a way to keep everyone in your family entertained on your next trip to Epcot? Check out our list to keep every age group happy!

Babies under 2

The Seas with Nemo and Friends will be a hit with your little one. Travel “underwater” with your favorite Nemo characters in a clamshell!  At one point you will actually be going through The Seas Pavilion, the largest saltwater tank in America. Make sure to take some time to check this amazing underwater habitat after you exit to explore this pavilion. Babies just love the mesmerizing waters!

Looking for an easy break from your day and a great place for baby to nap? Head over to Living With The Land, a slow-moving boat ride that will be sure to lull baby to sleep while the rest of the family enjoys the knowledge of how Disney horticulturalists are using cutting edge growing techniques and cross-breeding crops to help feed our growing planet.

Preschoolers 3 - 5 years

You’ll want to make sure and secure a Fastpass for one of the most popular rides at Epcot for little ones, Frozen Ever After. Based on the popular movie your children will be entertained by their favorite characters on this boat ride through a Frozen Celebration.

Spaceship Earth located within the iconic Epcot “ball” will be sure to be a hit with your preschoolers and the whole family. Everyone will enjoy the different animatronics as you coast through our humanity’s history in this 16-minute Omnimover-style attraction.

Big Kids 6 - 10 years

Your bigger kids will get a real kick out of Journey Into Imagination with Figment; tell them to hold their nose when they see the skunk! To add to their fun as they exit the ride they will enter ImagineWorks-What If Labs where they can immerse themselves in some hands-on learning from waving their arms like a conductor to creating beautiful music to inspiring a sympathy of sound just by jumping from one square to the next!

No trip to Epcot would be complete for your big kids without a stop at Test Track where they will be strapped into a six-passenger simulation car of their design. Their car will be put to the test virtually and interactively, it’s a must check out!

Tweens and Teens 11 - 18 years

Your teens will for sure have to head over to both Soarin’ and Mission: Space!

Soarin’ is a motion simulation that will take your teens over the sights of California giving them a birds-eye view of the beauty below. Mission: Space simulates what an astronaut would experience aboard a spacecraft mission to Mars. For your teens who love something more intense, tell them to take the orange lane!

Your teens will enjoy the accurate depictions of eleven different countries as they journey around the world in Epcot’s World Showcase. Let them have a little free reign as they dive in the different cultures Disney so vividly displays!
