Looking for a way to keep everyone in your family entertained on your next trip to the Animal Kingdom? Check out our list to keep every age group happy!

Babies under 2

The Kilimanjaro Safaris is a must-do for everyone in the family! After boarding a covered Jeep you’ll take a slow ride through the landscapes of Africa with real animal sightings in their natural habitats. Of course, it wouldn’t be Disney without a fun guide leading the tour!

Another ride for babies and the whole family is one of the newest additions to the Animal Kingdom, Na’vi River Journey in the newest land, Pandora. Be prepared for one of the most beautiful experiences. The wait can be excessive as it’s popular so make sure you reserve a Fastpass in advance.

Preschoolers 3 - 5 years

Your preschoolers' favorite thing to do will surely be The Boneyard. It’s a dig site themed playground where your children can run around, go down slides, and have fun digging in a “sandpit.”  You’ll have to drag them out!

Triceratops Spin is also a big hit with younger children. Reminiscent of a boardwalk-style ride with Disney flair, your little ones will be begging to go back on the ride that takes them spinning around in a Triceratops as their vehicle moves up and down.

Make sure you let them stop and play to their heart’s content on the bongo drums in the Harambe Village Section! Really helps to get out some of that excess energy.

Big Kids 6 - 10 years

Your big kids will love Dinosaur as they board a vehicle that heads into the jungle in search of a dinosaur, make sure they’re ready for the surprise at the end!

On especially hot days, Kali River Rapids is sure to excite.. and cool down everyone. The whole family can fit together on a raft as you navigate the treacherous rapids. Be prepared - you will get wet!

Make sure to catch the popular shows at the Animal Kingdom; Finding Nemo The Musical and Festival of the Lion King.  Both shows will keep your kid’s entertained and enraptured by elements from their favorite Disney movies.

Tweens and Teens 11 - 18 years

The daredevils in your crew will have to head over to Expedition Everest, a roller coaster experience like no other! This is one of those few rides where the ride queue is an experience in itself as it’s filled with authentic design and artifacts reflecting the Nepalese and Tibetan relationships with the Yeti.

No trip to the Animal Kingdom would be complete without a ride on the latest and greatest ride, Avatar Flight of Passage. After boarding your own mountain banshee you’ll embark on a breathtaking flight over Pandora’s out of this world landscape. Even more amazing, this beautiful scenery is set in 3D giving you an incredibly realistic way to experience your teens’ favorite movie, Avatar!
