Who says Villains can only come out at Halloween? Get ready for Disney Villains After Hours! Running select nights this summer from June 6 - August 8, 2019, you’ll be able to run amuck with your favorite villains throughout Magic Kingdom.
With a DJ energizing the castle stage pumping enchanting music and you “Caretaker” for the evening, the Lord of the Dead, Hades, who arrives in a burst of blue flames, you’re sure to have the time of your life. Make sure you’re center stage for the all-new show, “Villains Unite the Night.”
Hades, with Meg by his side, has a dastardly plan to rule the world in this spine-tingling show. But his plans go awry when a group of Disney Villains interrupts his party. The Evil Queen, Dr. Facilier, Maleficent and Jafar arrive with their henchmen and all showcase their amazing powers with heart-stopping displays of their skills.
“I think guests will really be impressed with ‘Villains Unite the Night!’” said Kate Pappas, who is the managing producer of Disney Parks Live Entertainment. “This show is going to be more than 20 minutes long and run three times each night of the event, so everyone will have a chance to see all these great Villains on stage. Add in our amazing DJ, and the hub of the park will be pulsing with energy all night long!”
For the first-ever you’ll also get to see the Maleficent Dragon let loose at night for the first time! After being freed from the “Festival of Fantasy” parade she breathes fire as makes her way down Main Street.
In Tomorrowland, you’ll find the Villains have invaded Space Mountain, there’s a new music underscore and surprises as these evil menaces taunt you during your thrilling ride. Make sure to head over to Adventureland, where a live crew of bad guys invades Pirates of the Caribbean in search of golden treasure.
Disney Villains After Hours will also include specialty food and beverage selections, special event merchandise only available during the event and low wait times at more than 20 attractions and experiences across the park!
It’s a must-do this summer during your visit to Magic Kingdom!
