Storybook Dining at Artist Point Restaurant Review

Storybook Dining at Artist Point found in Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, is one of the newest character dining experiences you’ll find in Disney World.

As a whole, I personally believe this restaurant is the most “Disney” themed restaurant in all of Disney World and a must-visit on your next trip. There are no details that do not tie into the movie Snow White. Every little nuance has been thought of to really give you a feel that you are dining with Snow White and her entourage.

You will find four characters at this dining experience; Snow White, the Evil Queen, Dopey and Grumpy and it does accept the Disney Dining Plan using one table service credit. Although these characters are subject to change and never guaranteed you will always have a few Snow White characters to entertain you during your meal.

Upon your entrance, you’ll find large, leafy tree canopies lining the ceiling really giving you the feeling of being in the woods with Snow White and the dwarves. Several times during your meal music will play and the lights hanging in the trees above will change colors depending on the mood of the music. The most fun is when the Evil Queen makes her entrance, everything gets a deep red!

Snow White and her two dwarves all begin dancing when their favorite songs come on and your little ones will want to definitely join in the fun. Children are asked to get out of their seats and dance along.

Themed details abound in this restaurant; from the apple cutout napkin ring with all the character’s signatures to the revolving “lazy Susan” type trays on your tables designed to look like trees where your shared appetizers and desserts are placed.

You’ll find all meals are well thought out to make you feel that you are truly in Snow White’s world. The desserts were our absolute favorite. Our children’s favorite being The Miner’s Treasure, layers of chocolate cake and icing with the “gems” being colorful candy-coated chocolate. So fun and delicious!

At the end of your meal, you will receive an invitation where you are “summoned” to meet the Evil Queen. After a fun few minutes of interaction with this stoic and frigid character, a Photopass Photographer will take your picture in front of a beautiful storybook.

Overall, an amazing dining experience well worth either the money or use of one table service credit!
