Magic Kingdom’s Tony’s Town Square Restaurant Review

Looking for an Italian meal during your next visit to Magic Kingdom? Then you’ll need to check out Tony’s Town Square Restaurant! Based on the restaurant where Lady and the Tramp had their first kiss in the movie, you’ll feel transported to that magical moment as you enjoy your Italian fare.

As you walk in their lobby, you’ll see the movie playing, which plays on a loop consistently throughout the day. Watching it is a great way for your kids to unwind and stretch out for a few minutes before your table is called.

There are a variety of seating options but our family always asks to sit in the inside seating area as we find it the most whimsical and reminiscent of the movie, with many paintings showing scenes from the movie and stained glass windows as you would expect in the real restaurant!

If you want to consider eating outside make sure you plan your meal with the various parades, it’ll be a strained view of the floats but still a cool experience your kids will love! If you have a seating preference, make sure to ask at check-in.

Probably our favorite part of the meal is the complimentary bread offered. It’s delicious and my children gobble it up. Soft and doughy with a sprinkling of salt which is served with olive oil for dipping. You’ll for sure be asking for seconds!

My children's favorite meal to order is the pizzas which are your typical local pizzeria type pizza, which may be why my children love it so, it reminds them of home. Of course, the must-order here is the Spaghetti and Meatballs, where you can reenact the beloved scene of Lady and the Tramp enjoying theirs. Unfortunately, for me, my husband never wants to partake in my fun! Described by the restaurant as your “Choice of Hand-rolled Pork-Beef Meatballs or Italian Sausage with Freshly Made Thin Spaghetti and Tony’s Marinara Sauce,” you’ll get to indulge in hand made, fresh pasta and yummy meatballs.

There is a short beer and wine list available for Mom and Dad if they’d like to enjoy a drink with their lunch or dinner - a reminder that with the Disney Dining Plan and Deluxe Dining Plan, an alcoholic beverage is included with your meal!

For dessert, you must try either the Tiramisu or the Cannoli. You won’t be disappointed with either! Tony’s also offers a couple of other Italian classic favorites if you’d like to indulge in something else.

As you leave to head back to the parks, keep your eyes open for the “Dapper Dans,” a barbershop quartet who makes their rounds around Main Street. They frequent Tony’s Town Square Restaurant where you can enjoy their acapella rendition of “Bella Note.” With a stomach filled with delicious Italians eats, if you close your eyes as they’re serenading you, you’ll swear you’ve been transported to “The Lady and the Tramp” movie.
