Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast Review

If you’re looking for a character dining experience during your next Walt Disney World family vacation for not only the little princesses in your family but also the princes - make sure you make a Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast reservation at Trattoria al Forno on Disney’s Boardwalk. This coveted breakfast is for sure to please all of your family members because it features Princesses Ariel and Rapunzel; as well as the lesser-seen princes, Eric and Flynn Ryder. Because of its popularity make sure you make your reservation 180 days before your vacation check-in date.

Since the Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast is a character meal, it’s a set price of $40 for adults and $24 for children aged 3-9, with little ones under 3 being free. This price can fluctuate based on the time of year.

You will find that each meal comes with pastries, a fruit cup which is a combination of berries and melons, changing upon what’s in season, your choice of entree and a beverage.

The pastries come in a cute, little frying pan, (think Tangled!) and have fun Disney themes such as a pearl from The Little Mermaid. These treats were probably our children’s favorite part of their meal!

As you’re waiting for your main entrée the four lovable characters make their grand entrance into the dining room, beginning their rounds of visiting all of the tables. All four are great fun and very interactive with the kids. As it’s seldom to see the princes anywhere, my children get an extra kick out of spending time with them. Flynn Ryder will be sure to show you his smolder and be ready with your camera to snap a picture of your children trying to emulate him! Make sure you ask him what he has in his bag - as you may find he is carrying around Rapunzel’s missing crown!

We especially love this restaurant because of the all-immersive type feel to the menu. Our children indulged in such meals as “King Triton’s Shipwreck al Forno,” which even came with a giant trident speared into this calzone stuffed with scrambled eggs, bell peppers and delicious cheeses as well as the “Tower of Pancakes,” which will come with a dusting of sugar in the shape of that beautiful sun.

As we were finishing up our scrumptious breakfast, children are invited to join these fun characters in dancing around the restaurant parade fashion. The princesses also meet up with their princes at this point and dance together a bit. It made for some great pictures of our children enjoying themselves next to some of their favorite characters. It was a great way to end our breakfast!
