Let’s discuss a dirty little word, shall we? Politics. It’s a topic adults discuss often, but not as often with their kids and rarely within their kid's bedtime reading. This book is about to change all of that. 'President of the Jungle' is a story of a jungle that is sick of the decisions their King, the Lion, has been making so they decide it’s time to switch to democracy and hold an election. There are campaigns, ballots, and votes and this book provides a clear story about the purpose of every element in the politics of a Democracy. There is even a page dedicated to the not so nice things politicians sometimes say. I’m casting my ballot this year and then I’m going home to read this book with my daughter again and again.
