Walt Disney World’s Baby Care Centers

By Jade Monzo, Owner, Rope Drop Travel October 26, 2020

If you are a nursing mother or have a small child who is in need of some extra help, make sure to check out one of Walt Disney World’s Baby Care Centers! Located in each of WDW’s four theme parks, you will find a designated area for anything your little one may need.

While these centers have always been kept immaculate; in this era, Disney has even stepped it up. Besides upping the number of times they are being cleaned throughout a given day, which before was constant, all physical distancing guidelines are being met.

Check out this list of what you can find in one of these amazing centers.

1. Each care center has a designated room for mothers who are looking for a private, quiet spot to nurse their baby. In this specific era, all physical distancing measures are being met and you will find rocking chairs for each mother spaced six feet apart. It is a secluded room away from the hustle and bustle of the parks where you can comfortably nurse. TIP: I always bring my cell phone in and charge it in one of the outlets next to me.

2. Each care center will have a small shopping section where you can find practically anything that you may be in need of. Some examples are new onesies for that accidental spill, medications, diapers, sunscreen, and baby food to name a few. There is a water cooler that can dispense hot or cold water with disposable cups if you need that drink of cool water! Microwaves are also available here if you need to heat your child’s meal.

3. There are restrooms for adults and children alike. My children always especially like the small toilet just their size!

4. If your baby is in need of a change and you’re in the vicinity of the Baby Care Center, I always suggest using one. The changing tables are large with disposable paper sheets, keeping them extra sanitary. Disney has also recently installed new air filtration systems in their changing rooms, keeping the air even more fresh and healthy!

5. If you are looking for a place to feed your little one who may be eating baby food or follows a special menu requiring you to reheat their meal, there is a designated room where you will find high chairs and tables and chairs. You can easily feed your little one. I sometimes prefer feeding a small child here if you have the time over at the restaurant if you can time it. I will occasionally feed my baby here before we head to the restaurant reservation. Then, when we get to the restaurant my little one is full and happy and will play with toys while I can enjoy my meal. TIP: If you’ve forgotten a spoon, ask the cast member working the Care Center, they always have a spare.
