Christmas 2020 at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Walt Disney World may have different or modified experiences right now but one thing that isn’t changing is the holly, jolly feel this holiday season! What can you expect this year when visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios?

Decorations

You will still find all those vintage decorations you know and love so much giving you all those holiday nostalgic feels. The amazing Christmas tree is still prominent at Echo Lake and make sure to look up at your favorite dinosaur - he’s in his Christmas best decked out with his Santa hat and Christmas ornament!

Head over to Toy Story Land where you’ll see the larger than life Woody is cozy in his winter scarf. Those Christmas ball ornaments, look a bit closer; they are really Pixar alien balls!

Specialty Snacks

Disney does not disappoint on the holiday-themed snacks! You will still find all of your favorite, collectible popcorn buckets and “Jingle Bell Sippers” for purchase.

If there are only two snacks you are able to purchase during your day, you have to have the Frozen Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate, which showcases a souvenir Mickey glow ball among the green sugar sprinkles, marshmallows and a delicious chocolate drizzle. I would pair it with the signature Mickey’s Holiday Cookie. A simple holiday vanilla butter cookie with a little kick, topped with delicate white chocolate and festive sugar snowflakes. This combination is the ultimate for enjoying the holidays!

Not a cookie fan? Then maybe consider the Holiday Whoopie Pie…or Olaf’s Snow Flurry cupcake. You may want to bring a friend and have plans to share all of these amazing holiday desserts available this year!

Character

The only character meal available in the park right now is at Hollywood and Vine. You’ll be able to see Minnie and the gang all dressed in their holiday best while you munch on some of your favorites. Characters this year are not visiting tables or signing autographs but will do a turn through the restaurant. It is still a lot of fun for the little ones to see their favorites!

If you are not able to snag a reservation but still want to see some of your favorite characters be aware of the Merry Motorcades spontaneously popping up throughout the parks. There is no set schedule, but when you hear the merry music move over to the side as it is a great way to get that physically distanced photo! So much fun!
