Taste of Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival 2021

By Jade Monzo, Owner, Rope Drop Travel April 27, 2021

Taste of Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival at Walt Disney World has bought back its iconic, breathtaking character topiaries, along with over twenty outdoor kitchens showcasing different limited availability food and drink items, and many beautiful, unique opportunities to explore nature in these lush flower gardens.

Beginning March 3rd and running through July 5th, such unique opportunities include a springtime scavenger hunt starring Spike in Spike’s Pollen Nation Exploration. Guests will purchase a scavenger hunt map for $7.99.  After traveling through the pavilions, noting when they spot the mischievous Spike in the awe-inspiring gardens, guests will turn in their maps before leaving, regardless of completing the quest. The prizes do tend to change, however, right now a limited edition of Flower and Garden-themed cup can be won. Totally worth the price and super fun - kids will love it!

Guests can also try different foods from around the world. Twenty different outdoor kitchens, all with a different theme and specialties await you at these popup kiosks. You’ll find some amazing delicacies! Keep in mind, the portions are very small; perfect as an appetizer or for a little one.

For 2021, the theme park has debuted two brand new kiosks; EPCOT Sunshine Griddle, which offers delicious brunch items, and EPCOT Farmers Feast, which offers a rotating seasonal menu.

Get ready to see your favorite Disney characters - in topiary form! Guests will enjoy seeing Mickey and friends, Figment, Winnie the Pooh and Friends, Lady and the Tramp, and Anna and Elsa.

Additionally, EPCOT is bringing back its popular Garden Graze food stroll, a fun food stroll highlighting five delicious offerings at the festival which are all listed in the Festival Passport (look for these at any store or kiosk in Epcot for free). Upon your Garden Graze purchase, you will receive a stamp for your Festival Passport. Once you’ve collected all five stamps, bring your Festival Passport to Pineapple Promenade Outdoor Kitchen to receive a complimentary prize exclusive to the festival.

Probably the most special thing about the 2021 Taste of EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival is that for the first time ever, the theme park is bringing local Orlando bands for entertainment! Each weekend on the stage at America Gardens Theatre, you can enjoy a series of concerts featuring local bands from Orlando, also known as the "City Beautiful".

My personal favorite spot is the Shakespeare Garden - a divine way to enjoy a few minutes relaxing in the garden as you stroll along reading some of Shakespeare’s most famous sonnets. Both children and adults will be mesmerized.
