Cooking with your kids is such a fun activity that can help to strengthen your bond and create lasting memories! And if you were blessed with picky eaters, it could be the perfect way to get them interested in trying new foods.
This breakfast quesadilla is a fun and easy recipe to make. Even better, it's completely customizable to please even the pickiest eaters! Depending on your kids' age and skill level, they can make this recipe from start to finish (with adult supervision, of course).
Ingredients:
- flour tortilla
- peanut butter (or any other nut butter or Nutella)
- fruit of your choice (we used bananas, strawberries and blueberries)
Step 1: Using a kid safety knife or butter knife, cut the fruit into bite-sized pieces.
Step 2: Spread the peanut butter on the entire tortilla.
Step 3: Place the fruit on one half of the tortilla, then fold it in half.
Step 4: Add the quesadilla to a dry pan over medium heat and toast it on both sides.
Step 5: Cut the quesadilla into four pieces and serve. Enjoy!
