Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so why not make it fun? These pancake skewers are as fun to make as they are to eat!
They are also a great way to get your kids involved in the kitchen, no matter what their age. The older kids can help to mix and cook the pancakes, while the younger ones can do the assembling.
You’ll Need:
- Your favorite pancake recipe or pancake mix
- Assorted fruit, such as strawberries and bananas
- Syrup, whipped cream, or powdered sugar
- Skewers
Step 1: Mix the pancake batter according to the recipe you’re using. Then, place small amounts of batter in a pan to cook bite-sized pancakes. I like to measure the batter with a half-tablespoon.
Step 2: Slice the strawberries and bananas (or any other fruit that you’re using).
Step 3: Time to assemble! Let your kids build their own pancake skewers. Serve them with a side of syrup or whipped cream for dipping, or dust them with powdered sugar. Enjoy!
