Recommended Ages 3-7 years

Ronan, a mighty barbarian who invaded, raided and traded until one day he discovered something new- books. This silly adventure story will captivate all book lovers. Highlighting the value of reading over hoards of gold. With fun illustrations and scenes reminiscent of the animated movie How To Train Your Dragon. Amazed by his own growing love for reading, Ronan tries to share his new passion with his town by building a library. A failure at first, he decides he needs to conquer his own village and will do so with a story.

This book could be the perfect tool to help win over little ones who haven’t realized how adventurous reading can be. Each page is covered in color and detail that would help catch a child’s attention, just like it did for our story's hero. I particularly like a scene where Ronan is leading a vessel that is carrying a pyramid of books. With his nose stuffed in the pages, he is unaware of a giant sea monster, who looks just as confused about the barbarian’s actions.
