What does Thanksgiving in the forest look like? When all the animals come together to make a Thanksgiving meal plan, each creature decides exactly what they are going to bring. Broccoli, carrots, rolls and pumpkin pie, but the most classic option to bring is the turkey. This story is sweet and encouraging, a book about kindness and never making assumptions. Mouse offers to bring the turkey, but the woodland animals roll their eyes and declare that she is too little. The suspense will draw in each child as they understand the battle that little mouse faces, defying the odds of being little. Kids will enjoy reading this quick fun holiday book and looking closely at the illustrations to find the turkey hiding on each page. The story finishes with a twist that children won’t expect.
