Mandarin Seeds is a Mandarin Chinese language center that specializes in Mandarin education for early childhood. True to their slogan, "where Mandarin is a playground", our vision is to create a playful and full immersion environment where children will discover joy in learning Mandarin language and Chinese culture.
The school’s teaching philosophy is discovery-based and child-centered. Each child is given individual attention. The school respects different learning styles and diverse backgrounds of students. Mandarin Seeds is beyond a language. The school believes it is opening doors and building bridges to connect the children to an increasingly globalized world, and that they are helping them cultivate a lifelong passion and appreciation of the Chinese language and culture.
Founded in 2008 by two New York City mothers, who shared the same passion for Chinese language and started their first Mommy and Me Mandarin class for their own children, Mandarin Seeds has grown to offer Grownup & Me program, Immersion program for preschool age children, and after school Mandarin program for kindergartners.
