Green Ivy Summer Camp at Battery Park Montessori provides a warm and enriching summer camp experience for children ages 1-5. Guided by current best practices for early childhood development and education, we provide a playful, engaging and safe ‘first camp’ experience for your child. Counselors who speak English, Spanish and/or Mandarin will supplement camp activities for exposure to all three languages.
Registration is by the week and each week is highlighted with a fun theme, except for Nursery Ones. Sample schedule provided on our website.
Week 1: June 24-28 | Animal Kingdom
Whether on the prowl, burrowing underground or swimming in the water, this week is all about animals!
Week 2: July 1-5 | Build It
Welcome to a week of hands-on creativity, teamwork and boundless imagination.
**Camp will be in session on Fourth of July**
Week 3: July 8-12 | Down on the Farm
There was a camp who learned about farms and Green Ivy was its name-o!
Week 4: July 15-19 | Around the world in 5 days
Learn about the different countries that are a part of the 5 continents. Our passports will be stamped all over this week.
Week 5: July 22-25 | Jumping in Nature
It’s an opportunity to foster a lifelong connection with nature while having a blast in the great outdoors.
Week 6: July 29-August 2 | Dino Camp
Campers will be on an exploration of the mesmerizing world of the dinosaurs this week!
Week 7: August 5-9 | STEM Labs
From big inventions to mind-blowing experiments, sparks of creativity will fly at camp!
Week 8: August 12-16 | Community Helpers
From firefighters to mail carriers, there are real-life heroes all around us in our community!
