"Boo at the Zoo" our annual family-friendly Halloween tradition is back at the Bronx Zoo. Come dressed in your Halloween best and enjoy! 

Two new additions this year are "Spooky Stories to Tickle Your Spine" where you can listen to folktales from around the world featuring animals that you can see here in the zoo and "Bones Tell a Story: Animal Skeletons" where you can discover the fascinating features of skeletons from a collection of animal species you might see here in the zoo.

Plus, all of your favorite activities:

• Join our stilt walkers and Halloween-themed puppets in the Costume Parade!
• Decorate your own Jack o'lantern mask to wear in the parade.
• See a performance by our fan-favorite magician with an animal-inspired magic and mind-reading show!
• Watch as expert artists create giant animals and intricate scenes out of pumpkins.
• Join the witch and all her creepy crawly friends in a funny, short musical perfect for the whole family!
• Enjoy lawn games in the Boo Playground.
• Check out the eerie Extinct Animal Graveyard.
• Take a walk among hundreds of expertly carved pumpkins and try to find your favorite on the Pumpkin Trail.
• Follow the Trick or Truth Trail to learn about so-called “spooky” animals and bust some creepy myths.

Boo at the Zoo Hours:

Saturdays and Sundays from Sept. 30 to Oct. 29 (and Monday, Oct.9): 10 A.M. TO 5:30 P.M.

And be sure to check out our ALL NEW night-time family event, Pumpkin Nights! This all-new family Halloween event will take place Thursday-Sunday evenings, from September 28 through October 29! Follow an animal-themed illuminated jack-o’lantern trail and learn what animals do after dark, plus enjoy games and treats.
