HERO reimagines the famed seasonal legend as an enchanted place of tales and lore, set amidst the magic of a harvest festival. Kids and kids-at-heart will embark on a wondrous Fall journey through the bucolic, misty forests of the Hudson Valley, as the spirit of Washington Irving, Sleepy Hollow’s author, guides them through a land of twilight tales and folklore.
Enter the hollows and learn the spooky legends of the land, find your way through an interactive corn maze, and follow the story of Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman. Discover an enchanted mushroom bouncy forest to jump on to your heart’s content, and unwind with a witch's tale by the hearth with apple cider donuts, candied treats, potions and brews, and mulled wine.
Centering the experience is a magical live pumpkin patch under a harvest sky where guests can find their perfect pumpkin to take home. Guests can even personalize their Jack-o-Lanterns with the help of expert carvers and a selection of paints and crafts.
